KedarnathTemple
Kedarnath Temple one of the most famous temple in Uttarakhand. Kedarnath is worshiped as the first Kedar in Panch Kedar. Kedarnath temple was built by Adi Shankaracharya. More than 200 idols of Lord Shiva have been installed in the sanctum sanctorum of the temple. Apart from Kedarnath Panch Kedar, it is also considered to be the 11th Jyotirlinga out of 12 Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. The back of Lord Shiva is worshiped in Kedarnath.
MadhyamaheshwarTemple
At an altitude of 3497 mtrs is located Madhmeshwar temple. This temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. Among the five temples of Panch Kedar it is the second temple which is visited after Kedarnath. After the visit of Madhmeshwar, Tungnath is to be visited. It is said that these temples are built by Pandavs. Madhmeshwar means the middle or belly part or navel of the bull, considered a divine of Shiva.
TungnathTemple
The most famous pilgrimage and tourist site in this region is the Tungnath Temple, located 3.5 km from Chopta.
The Tungnath temple, which comes third in the Panch Kedar temple of Lord Shiva in Uttarakhand, is also the highest Shiva temple in the world.

RudranathTemple
Rudranath temple is worshipped as the fourth Kedar in the Panch Kedar temple. It is situated about14 km from Gopeshwar, Chamoli. Lord Shiva’s face is worshipped in Rudranath temple. Apart from this, Lord Shiva is also worshiped here in the form of Neelkanth. The peaks of Chaukhamba, Nanda Devi and Dronagiri mountain ranges of the Himalayas are also visible from the Rudranath temple. There are also many ancient pools near the temple, which are called Tarakund and Suryakund.
KalpeshwarTemple
Kalpeshwar is a temple of great religious importance amongst the Hindu. Situated at an elevation of 2,200 m, in the Urgam valley in the Chamoli district of the Garhwal region in the state of Uttarakhand. It is a temple dedicated to Lord Shiva and the Locks of Shiva (matted hair or Jata)are Worshipped here. Kalpeshwar temple is the last of the five temples of the Panch Kedar of Lord Shiva’s five anatomical divine forms.

Deoria Tal is a lake located about 3 Kms on an uphill trek from the villages of Mastura and Sari, on the Ukhimath-Chopta road in Uttarakhand. At an altitude of about 2387 meters. Its a short but very much enjoyable trek. place is a very beautiful tourist spot and must visit destination in uttarakhand . About the Deoria Tal lake is mentioned in many Hindu religious books, and it is also associated with significant of the Mahabharata period. As a adventure point of view It is an easy trek to Deoria Tal Lake for an inexperienced trekker, and most trekkers start their trek from this point for the trip to Tungnath and Chandrashila.
Chandrashila
One of the most visited and popular trek Chandrashila peak at the heigth of 13,000ft that takes to the the highest panch kedar- Tungnath at the height of 12,000ft Chandrashila is summit of the Tungnath.
There’s a 360-degree view of the Himalayas from Chandrashila peak, including Nandadevi, Trisul, Kedar Peak, Bandarpunch and Chaukhamba. According to mythology, Lord Ram meditated here after killing Ravana.
Dugalbitta
When you leave for Chopta from Ukhimath, a very beautiful hill station named Dugalbitta comes 07 kilometers before Chopta Mini Switzerland of Uttarakhand . Dugalbitta has just started making its mark in the field of tourism.
According to the local people, Dugalbitta means the place between two mountains. Some time ago this hill station used to be a stoppage for tourists going to Chopta.
Ukhimath
Ukhimath, located at a distance of about 45 km from Chopta, is a major pilgrimage site in the Rudraprayag district of Uttarakhand. Ukhimath is considered to be one of the most ancient cities of Uttarakhand.
The idols of Kedarnath, Tungnath, Kalpeshwar and Madhyamaheshwar are worshiped for six months during the winter season at Omkareshwar in Ukhimath, situated at an altitude of 1311 meters (4301 ft) above sea level.
